The Perfect Cocktail to Enjoy with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

On the day of the heavily anticipated sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order releasing, and a friendly nudge from Jesse Vitelli to bring back more Bits & Brews content, I figured I would craft a cocktail worthy of a weekend adventuring with Cal Kestis. With a galaxy of scoundrels and and aliens aplenty to base this delicious libation on, it would be criminal to do anything other than honor everyone’s favorite froggy friend– Turgle.

Whether you are a Jedi on a mission to seek a linear path forward on the missions at hand for Cal and the crew or someone who is seeking to uncover all of the secrets each area has to offer in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor this light and punchy cocktail is the perfect cantina quencher.

To make Turgle Soup you’ll need:

  • 1 fresh lime, squeezed
  • 1/4 fresh lemon, squeezed
  • 1.5oz Gin (floral)
  • .5oz Cranberry Liqueur (can substitute 100% Cranberry Juice)
  • .5oz Black Raspberry Liqueur
  • .5oz Honey / Honey Syrup

Combine all of these ingredients in a shaker tin filled with ice, shake them together, and pour over fresh ice. Feel free to garnish the top of the drink with one of your squeeze lime peels to add a pop of green for a froggy friend whom this cocktail is inspired by. Please remember to always indulge responsibly.

For an alcohol free version of this drink, follow these steps:

  • 1 fresh lime, squeezed
  • 1/2 fresh lemon, squeezed
  • 3 Blackberries, muddled
  • 3oz 100% Cranberry Juice
  • .5oz Honey / Honey Syrup

Add the fresh squeezed lime and lemon juice to a shaker tin, add the blackberries and muddle the berries. Add the remaining ingredients to the tin, shake and pour over ice. Feel free to strain over fresh ice if you’d like to minimize blackberry pulp.
