With Overwatch, Blizzard is on the road to revolutionizing eSports and bringing that excitement to cities and streaming devices near you. Their model puts rules in place to protect players, the framework to develop regional fanbases, and the next step in legitimizing eSports and bringing virtual competitors into the mainstream.
With the preseason set to kickoff next month, the below schedule has been released detailing the opening match-ups.
The preseason will consist of two match-ups for each of the 12 OWL (Overwatch League) teams between December 6th through December 9th– with the regular season set to begin on January 10th, 2018. The entire season will be played at Blizzard Arena Los Angeles in Burbank, CA each Wednesday through Saturday.
