Must be the season of the spritz.
When the fall started to roll in this year I wanted to come up with a recipe for a cocktail that was both easy to make and captured the season. While also avoiding cinnamon forward or pumpkin concoctions.Taking advantage of the bounty of amazing local cideries in Massachusetts and New England, I wanted to incorporate quality and local deliciousness into something worthy of a local’s taste buds as well as any tiny witch hat wearing tourist. Enter the Apple-rol Witch, a playful riff on everyone’s favorite summertime spritz.
How to make an Apple-rol Witch.
- 3oz Hard Cider, Stormalong Legendary Dry
- 2oz Prosecco
- 1.5oz Aperol
- 1 slice Apple
Build this simple drink right in the glass. Ice, hard cider, prosecco, Aperol, stir. Garnish with an apple slice and enjoy! Please enjoy responsibly.
