Luigi’s Mansion Inspired Cocktail
This drink went through many iterations, not because the recipe was bad or I couldn’t find the right recipe but because after the first recipe was crafted Jesse Vitelli let me know of his love for Pickleback shots. So with that, the recipe was canned and pickles entered the mix. As someone who doesn’t care for pickles, I wanted to go out of my way to balance the ingredients so even myself could dare enjoy this Luigi’s Mansion inspired cocktail– Spicy Boo-nana.
- 3/4oz Fresh Lime Juice, squeezed
- 1/4 Jalapeño
- 1oz Banana Liqueur
- 1.5oz Vodka
- 1oz Dill Pickle Juice
- 3oz Ginger Beer
- Strawberry
To make the Spicy Boo-nana, add the lime juice and jalapeño to your shaker tin and muddle. Add the banana liqueur, vodka, and dill pickle juice. Shake vigorously. Add ginger beer, stir to incorporate, and strain over fresh ice in your glass. Cut a slice of strawberry into a heart shape and place in the center. Enjoy responsibly.
