Tomb Raider Inspired Cocktail
Not only is Lara Croft one of the most iconic video game characters of all-time, she’s one that is incredible important to Kate Sánchez. Hoping to do the character, the series, and Kate justice I embarked on a journey to craft the Spirit of Adventure. Melding ingredients tied to a locale from the original game and to Texas for Kate, this spicy yet balance bourbon forward cocktail will aid you in any expedition whether that be raiding tombs or through a manga volume.
- 1oz Fresh Lemon Juice, squeezed
- 1/4 Jalapeño
- 1oz Honey Syrup
- 3/4oz Fig Syrup
- 2oz Texas Bourbon
- Splash Grapefruit Juice
- Lemon Peel
To make the Spirit of Adventure, add the lemon juice, jalapeño, and honey to your shaker tin and muddle. Add the fig syrup, Texas bourbon, and grapefruit juice. Shake well and strain over one large ice cube. Peel a sliver of lemon, twist lightly over the glass and rub the rim before placing on the cube. Enjoy responsibly.
