Deus Ex Inspired Cocktail
Since I have not played Deus Ex this was one of the harder ones for me to choose where to pull inspiration from. Thankfully, Michael Higham shared his thoughts on why he chose this game and that put ignited the creative juices to where I needed them to go. Ambrosia is not only the vaccine within that world that folks are desperate to acquire but it’s a libation created here as an oasis in the discomfort of a world ravaged by issues similar to today. So whether you’re a fan of Deus Ex or not, this getaway in a glass is sure to inspire the mind to escape to somewhere more pleasing– or at least your taste buds.
- 1oz Fresh Lime Juice, squeezed
- .5oz Pressed Coconut Water
- 3oz Pineapple Juice
- .5oz Blue Curaçao
- 1.5oz Dark Rum
- Pineapple Leaf
To make the Ambrosia, combine lime juice, coconut water, pineapple juice, blue curaçao, and dark rum into your shaker tin. Shake vigorously. Strain over fresh ice, garnish with one pineapple leaf. Enjoy responsibly.
