A drink to link with your time in Hawaii.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon is one of my favorite games of the last decade and I’m so happy that Ichiban and the gang are back to continue their story. Inspired by them taking flight to new horizons, I concocted the perfect pairing for the Hawaiian adventure that awaits. Introducing the Dondoko-nut Margarita, the ideal companion for the silly and sincere moments that the Hero of Yokohama will undoubtedly find himself in.
To make Dondoko-nut Margarita you’re going to need:
- .5oz Lemon, fresh squeezed
- 1oz Lime, fresh squeezed
- 1oz Coconut Cream
- 1oz Pineapple Gum Syrup
- .5oz of Blue Curaçao
- 2oz Tequila, Reposado
- Lemon Peel
You’re going to build this drink in your shaker tin. Fill shaker tin with ice, add all ingredients to your tin. Shake vigorously. Strain and pour over a large fresh ice cube. Take one of your squeezed lemon wedges and remove the flesh, slice a small angled slice and place on the rim of your glass. Enjoy responsibly.
For an alcohol free version of this drink, follow these steps:
- 1/2 Lemon, fresh squeezed
- 1/2 Lime, fresh squeezed
- 1oz Coconut Cream
- 3oz Pineapple Juice
- Drop of blue food coloring
- Splash of Orange Juice
- Lemon Peel
