Alien Hominid Invasion Updates, Playable Demo For PAX Online

Earlier this year at PAX East 2020, The Behemoth brought a playable demo of Alien Hominid Invasion to the showfloor for attendees to get their hands on for the first time. The latest game from the makers of Castle Crashers, Battleblock Theatre, and Pit PeopleAlien Hominid Invasion is a cooperative run-and-gun platformer that is overflowing with chaotic battles and waves of enemies trying to take you down.

The team has been hard at work on Alien Hominid Invasion since the public was last able to play, and The Behemoth is eager to showcase some changes made to the game for those keeping up with PAX Online 2020, set to kick-off this weekend. According to The Behemoth, here are the updates you can expect to see in the latest build of Alien Hominid Invasion:

The latest build of Alien Hominid Invasion includes the following updates and changes from when the game was first shown earlier this year:

• Increased difficulty settings

• New enemies and additional enemy swarms

• More objectives to complete

• Map updates, which include new locations for levels

• A new “lunch money” system that allows you to collect currency to use (more to be revealed about that in the future)

• The option to turn on blood and gore

There will be demo available on Steam for players to check out all of these new changes for themselves or to experience the next game from acclaimed indie studio, The Behemoth, for the first time. The demo will be available on September 12th-13th and then made available again on September 18th-19th as part of PAX Online 2020. The Behemoth will also be live-streaming the first ever reveal of two player co-op play September 10th, 6:00 PM ET on their Twitch channel. There is currently no release date revealed for Alien Hominid Invasion.
