What’s that you say? Worried that after you play through Zelda: BOTW you won’t have much else to play? (Even though there’s at least 10 games confirmed to launch on March 3rd alongside the Switch and a myriad of games releasing throughout March and the coming months.)
Nintendo has heard your pleas and in response they have decided to hold a global testfire for Splatoon 2 from March 24-26. They ran this before the release of the original Splatoon on the Wii U and it is just as welcome this time around. The demo will give us the opportunity to play around with some of the new and remixed weapons on brand new stages!
The event schedule is as follows:
This is great news for anyone who never had the chance to play the original or play Splatoon 2 at PAX South, the upcoming PAX East, or any of the Switch events being held around the country by Nintendo leading up to the launch of their new hybrid console.
According to Nintendo’s official website, we will also be able to use the new smartphone app to communicate with our fellow Inklings. The PtC team will have the chance to play it at PAX East 2017, but for those of you not lucky enough to play it until the global testfire, stay fresh!
