A drink to the past.
Hyrule Warriors is back with a third game in the spin-off series, Age of Imprisonment, and bringing with it a deeper dive into some of the events of Tears of the Kingdom. Join Zelda and a cast of familiar and new faces as you battle hordes of enemies led by the Demon King himself, Ganondorf. With the ability to equip different zonai devices to aid you in battle, I figured that one more might not be a terrible thing to add to your arsenal. So with that, I concocted the Ancient Zonai Device— a crushable gin based drink that can serve as the perfect companion as you hack and slash across Hyrule.
To make an Ancient Zonai Device you’ll need:
- 1.5oz Gin, floral
- .5oz Fresh Lime Juice
- .5oz Honey Simple Syrup
- .5oz Melon Liqueur
- .5oz Triple Sec
- 2-3oz Soda Water
- 1 Lime wheel, sliced
You’re going to build this drink in your shaker tin. Fill with ice and add fresh squeezed lime juice, gin, honey simple syrup, melon liqueur, triple sec and shake. Fill your glass with ice, add soda water to the glass, and strain your tin into your glass. Garnish with a lime wheel. Enjoy responsibly.
