Assassin’s Creed Shadows Inspired Cocktail Recipe | My Plum

Something bright to enjoy in the shadows.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows sprawls the Japanese countryside in a dual narrative between the shinobi, Naoe, and the samurai, Yasuke. Both bringing their own skills allowing you to approach the challenges on your journey in different ways– stealthily sneaking out of sight or brute force thrust into your opponents face. Having to make that choice throughout the game may have you pondering periodically but thankfully deciding what to indulge in during your adventure has just been made easier with the specially crafted, My Plum.

To make a My Plum you’ll need:

• 1.5oz Japanese Gin
• 3oz Soda Water
• 1oz Plum Juice
• 1 slice Plum, garnish
• 1 peel Lemon, garnish

For this recipe I also made my own plum juice, if you opt out of making the plum juice I would recommend adding a squeeze of lemon and lime to your recipe. If you choose to make my plum juice recipe, follow these steps.

Build in high powered blender. Remove the pit of two plums, leave skin on and add to blender. Cut a lemon in half and remove the skin, add to blender. Squeeze of fresh lime, tablespoon of honey, and about two cups of water. Blend until as smooth as possible, adjust water to get correct consistency as needed. Double strain to remove skin and pulp.

You’re going to build this drink in your glass. Fill your glass with ice. Add 1.5oz of Japanese Gin, 3oz of soda water (or until glass is mostly full) being sure to pour the soda water slowly down the side of the glass and note directly over the ice. Finally, top with 1oz of plum juice and stir with bar spoon. Garnish with a slice of plum and lemon peel laid over the top. Sip and enjoy responsibly.

For an alcohol free version of this drink, follow these steps:

• 1/2oz Lemon, fresh squeezed
• 2oz Plum Juice
• 3oz Soda Water (fill glass)
• Squeezed lemon, garnish
• Plum slice, garnish
