Summer Game Fest is quickly approaching on June 7th, 2024 and as you scramble to pack for Los Angeles this week or make plans to watch the showcases from the comfort of your home I figured you needed something to quell your thirst for new game trailers. Introducing the Summer Game Fest Sunset— or the SGF Sunset! An easy to make and even easier drinking refreshing cocktail perfectly concocted to bring LA to your living room. Crafted to enjoy alongside exciting trailers or while you hope there’s a release date for Silksong.
To make the SGF Sunset you’re going to need:
- 1oz Sparkling Wine, Prosecco or Cava
- 3oz Orange Juice
- 1oz Tequila, Blanco or Reposado
- 1 lime wedge, squeezed
- Float, Black Raspberry Liqueur
You’re going to build this drink in your glass. Fill your glass with ice, add the sparkling wine, orange juice, and tequila. Squeeze your lime wedge. Take your bar spoon and slowly pour your black raspberry liqueur over the spoon. Toss a straw in your glass. Enjoy responsibly.
For an alcohol free version of this drink, follow these steps:
- 1 Lime wedge, squeezed
- 1 Lemon wedge, squeezed
- 3oz Orange Juice
- 2oz Soda Water
- Splash of Raspberry Simple Syrup
